In the lead up to Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding, I thought it might be interesting to do a bit of a photo history of royal weddings through the years.
Imagine my amazement when I googled royal weddings and saw that not only is there an official wedding page (complete with details about the church, the service, the royal wedding procession route, catering, video, twitter feeds, and even where to give wedding gifts (charitable funds only please). So I decided NOT to go down that path. If you want to know all that crazy detail then just to the website. I'm guessing if you are that obsessed you have already been there and saved it as a bookmark.
No this post is all about royal wedding fashion. You know, who wore what. So without further ado, I present:
Princess Margaret with Anthony Armstrong Jones
And then there are all the ones we know and love...
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip

And who can forget Prince Charles and Diana?
followed by Prince Charles and Camilla
There is just something about a royal wedding that makes us all want to know all the details, it must be that inner princess that always hoped for her prince charming. I know I will be watching, and then looking at the pictures afterwards as well to make sure I see all the beautiful details!
